Bridgette Yang is a Taiwanese American creative writer and film director based in San Francisco. Intertwining sharp honesty and poetic language, she hopes to write stories that become mirrors for whoever is looking close enough.
She’s performed poetry at SFJAZZ, the USC Festival of Books, the Getty Center alongside John Legend, and schools across Southern California. She was a 2022-2023 Poetry Coalition Fellow with Youth Speaks. Her films have premiered at SFFILM, SF Indie Fest, 4 Star Theater, KQED, and more. She is currently in the 2025 Goodby Silverstein & Partners Academy cohort.
Bridgette also ties her shoelaces faster than you, loves the VS podcast, and considers herself a very lucky rabbit.
